We have high aspirations for every boy and girl in all areas of school life, including academic achievement and progress. That’s why we dedicate so much time to creating a rich and dynamic curriculum for our Nursery, Pre-Prep and Preparatory School.
Whilst we ensure the foundation of a child’s learning is deeply rooted into all of our lessons here at Yarm Prep, as an independent school we are not confined to the learning objectives laid down by the National Curriculum.
Furthermore, our broad and differentiated curriculum allows us to stretch and support each child in equal measure. All areas of the childrens’ studies are valued. We also offer a balanced and stimulating timetable that allows every pupil the opportunity to develop knowledge and key skills in all areas.
In our aim to give the very best education to every child who joins us here at Yarm, we have created a curriculum with our pupils in mind and deliver it in a rich and stimulating environment. We also recognise that every child is unique and acknowledge their different interests, backgrounds and ways of learning in our provision learning opportunities.
We have a generous allocation of Teaching Assistants and optimal class sizes which ensure that excellent individual support is provided to every child.
Learn more about our Nursery, Pre-Prep and Preparatory School and discover what makes the education we offer so special, so unique and highly successful.
