In our latest inspection reports, Yarm School was rated “excellent”, the top grade, in all areas for both the Prep and Senior Schools.
ISI conducts two types of inspection: a full, Educational Quality Inspection and a Compliance Inspection. In November 2011 the school received the best possible rating, “excellent”, in the Educational Quality Inspection. For each one of the eight categories upon which the School was judged, it is the very best that we could possibly have achieved. It is relatively rare for a school to achieve the top grade in every category and for its Preparatory School to do likewise. Download our latest ISI reports below.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) carried out a Compliance Inspection at both Yarm School and Yarm Prep School in late November 2017. The most recent inspection checked the schools’ regulatory compliance according to Department for Education requirements. In each part the inspection reports simply on whether the required standard is MET or NOT MET.
We are delighted to report that, in both schools, we were found to be fully compliant in all aspects.
The Good Schools Guide is the UK’s leading school guide, offering unbiased school reviews and helping parents find and choose the best education for their child or children. Here is a snippet of our latest Good Schools Guide review…
“This feels a fun place to learn: inside and outside the classroom there is a wide range of discussion and activities (mostly run by staff) and to engage and interest every child, strengthening their relationship with their teachers. Children are enthusiastic about the opportunities provided, reflected in the faces of both pupils and staff. Being bored just isn’t on the radar here. A school that shows learning can be fun as well – fast paced with plenty of activity underpinned with reflection and resourcefulness. These are happy, bright, confident children with lots of opportunities for responsibilities and welcome them with genuine enthusiasm and pride.”
