Here’s everything you need to know about Yarm School’s Entrance Assessments.
Nursery (3+) and Reception (4+) children are invited to attend Taster Days; early reservation is recommended. Assessments for pupils from age 5 by appointment throughout the year.
Please ring Miss Sophie Richardson on 01642 781447 or email sri@yarmschool.org to request further details.
For entry into First Year (Year 7) and above all applicants sit the Entrance Assessments which take place in the January preceding September entry. Any late applicant, after the Entrance Assessments, may sit the tests by appointment and, if successful, will be offered a place if available or a place on the waiting list if the year group is fully subscribed.
Candidates applying for entry into the Sixth Form will be invited to an interview which can be arranged from the November onwards in the year preceding entry. There are specific entry requirements found in the Sixth Form Prospectus available for download.
Please ring Mrs Jane Herbert on 01642 786023 or email Head@yarmschool.org to request further details.
