Join us to experience life at Yarm Prep School at one of our open events.
There is an abundance of opportunity at Yarm Preparatory School that helps every child develop confidence and enjoy much success. Our curriculum is wonderfully broad, dynamic and responsive to the needs of our pupils. Specialist teachers and superb facilities enhance this further.
Furthermore, our diet of extra-curricular opportunities is unrivalled. Whether on the sports field, stage, or in the activities and clubs programme, our range of activities help to foster a wide variety of life skills and interests in every pupil.
Life here is a real adventure and we want to share that with you!
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED Woodland Adventure – Thursday 14th December, 9.30-11am Open to children 2-4 years Join us for a Stick Man themed Christmas woodland adventure featuring a special festive guest.
Robotics and Coding Afternoon – Monday 22nd January, 1-3pm Open to Year 5 and 6 pupils Join a robotics and coding session at Yarm. Join Yarm pupils and staff to take part in a typical weekly activity for VEX Robotics and Crumble.
Arts Afternoon – Tuesday 6th February, 12-3pm Open to Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils Join us for an afternoon celebrating the arts at Yarm. Rotate between drama, dance and art to experience some of the extra-curricular opportunities on offer at the Prep.
STEAM Afternoon – Tuesday 27th February, 12-3pm Open to Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils Immerse yourself in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) at Yarm by joining a rotation of activities: microbits, tinkershed and science for the afternoon.
Try a Sport Afternoon – Friday 15th March, 12-3pm Open to Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils Join us for an afternoon of sport at Yarm. Rotate between Fencing, Netball, Rugby or Hockey to try something new or experience how sport is integrated into life at Yarm Prep.
Try an Instrument Afternoon – Wednesday 27th March, 1-3pm Open to Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils Join us for the afternoon to try a range of instruments and enjoy making music with our visiting music teacher at the Prep School
The events are designed for parents to come along for a tour and to enjoy a drink whilst children enjoy their sessions (excluding woodland adventure where parents join children for the whole event).
