Coach Service

As a leading independent school in the North, Yarm School is committed to providing a seamless commute for our pupils. We welcome families from across the North East and North Yorkshire, offering a dedicated coach service to school.

Our extensive network makes Yarm School accessible for families in Stockton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Wynyard, Durham, Richmond, Northallerton, North Yorkshire and beyond.

Comprehensive Bus Routes for 2025-26

Our coach service is available to all pupils from Year 3 (Prep) onwards. We currently operate nine dedicated routes. With new routes launching soon: Durham Express and Richmond Express.

Flexibility for Families

We understand that every family has a different schedule. We offer a variety of pass options to suit your needs:

Full Pass: 10 journeys per week (AM & PM).
Morning / Evening Pass: 5 journeys per week (either AM or PM).
Flexi Pass: Minimum of 3 journeys per week. A mix of both AM & PM. These are set days each week.
Single Journey Pass: Permits a single, one-way journey on any day. (Must be booked 24 hours in advance.) These may only be issued to Prep School pupils (Year 3-6) if they are travelling with a sibling in Senior School.
Study Leave Pass: Discounted rates during the summer term.

Sibling Discount – We are pleased to offer fare discounts for families with more than one child using the coach service.

Our location offers easy access to the A19 and A66, making it a convenient hub for commuting parents. For those traveling by rail, Yarm and Eaglescliffe stations provide direct links to York, Newcastle, and London.
