Virtual Career Cluster Event: Education & Teaching

We are delighted to announce our next Career Cluster event focusing on the dynamic area of Education and Teaching on Tuesday, 12th October from 18:00 to 19:30.

This will seek to impart information, advice and guidance to pupils and parents for all those interested in exploring a career in some area of education, be it nursery, primary, secondary or tertiary. The event has been designed for pupils and parents from Fourth Year to Upper Sixth, and any pupil with a current or developing interest in any of these directions is strongly encouraged to participate.

• The first session will explore the experiences and share the advice of newcomers to the profession, albeit working with a diverse range of environments.
• We will then have a second panel of guests exploring the many and diverse roles that exist within education, including special needs teaching and management positions. A second panel will explore the diversity of professional opportunities that exists within the field of healthcare.
• A third panel will allow us to investigate the varied routes that exist in entering this diverse profession, as well as receiving advice on how those interested might best prepare themselves in order to make themselves competitive.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
