We are delighted to announce our next ‘remote’ Career Cluster event, exploring the topic of Gap Years. The event is open to everyone and will take place on the Zoom webinar platform on Tuesday, 24th November between 1830 and 2030.

There is often a big disconnect between the imagined projection and the actual reality of a Gap Year. They can be enormously varied in terms of their focus, location and even purpose. Evidence demonstrates that students who have taken a gap year before university assume above average levels of leadership positions at university, and also secure a higher proportion of First Class degrees.
This event will be devoted to exploring the arguments for taking and benefits from experiencing a Gap Year and will seek to answer all of your questions and more, such as:
We will be joined by a leading Gap Year Provider who will give a short presentation, followed by a Q&A session. The event will also present a number of former pupils who will join us to explain the process, nature and benefits of their experience, as well as take your questions.
