COACH SERVICE: INVITATION TO TENDER
As current contracts come to an end in August 2023, Yarm School is looking to tender for the provision of coach services to and from School. We will consider applications for all routes under one contract or, alternatively, for separate companies to work with us providing a proportion of the overall service. General information about the current routes and service can be found here. Further details on pupil numbers, stops and timings per route can be provided on request at coaches@yarmschool.org.
A contract for services must be signed to bind the arrangement with School: this usually runs for 3-5 years at a time, at the School’s discretion.
We are looking for financially secure, reliable, cost-effective yet high quality providers of coach services in the region who are willing to work with us to continue a first class service. Your bid should include how you propose to work with us to consider optimisation of routes, the possible implementation of relevant technology to ensure pupil safety and coach tracking, and what value you consider your company could add by supporting the Yarm brand, ethos and values. If you are selected for interview, you should expect to submit a detailed written proposal and presentation, including annual costs, at that point.
To submit your initial bid, please download the document (top right) and send the completed form to coaches@yarmschool.org.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, Monday 27th February 2023. Interviews will be held during w/c 6th March 2023. Please let us know if there are dates you cannot attend. We look forward to hearing from you.
