Joining Yarm at the age of three has allowed me to deeply understand what the school ethos is all about: Educating for Life. Everything that you learn here, whether it be from the sciences, to maths, to the activities like Yarm Apprentice, sets you up for your future. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the extra curricular activities, especially the sports. The school has allowed me to improve my overall sporting skills, but also my teamwork and leadership skills, which are easily transferable for my later life. I have always been supported by the teachers, and their guidance has made me into who I am today. Having all of these endless opportunities right in front of us, ensures that every pupil can flourish in an activity that they can enjoy. Taking on the School Captain role, will develop all of these skills even further, ready for my life after Yarm.
