Are you an HR expert who excels in a dynamic environment? If you enjoy blending strategic oversight with practical execution, this role might be for you, as we seek to appoint a HR Manager to take charge of the generalist HR operations at Yarm School.

In this influential position, you will serve as a key consultant to the SMT and Governors, while providing a steady, accessible presence for our staff. Whether you are navigating sensitive employee relations or supporting colleagues through their professional journey, your work will be central to our school’s culture.

To be clear, our setting is busy: success here requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a genuine mastery of high-volume administration. You must be comfortable transitioning seamlessly from high-level coaching to meticulous statutory compliance and contract management, while remaining composed and professional.

You will be well-supported in this endeavour, with access to administrative help, HR resources, and a direct line of support from the Director of Finance and Operations and Headmaster to help you lead this vital function.
