Trips and Excursions

Yarm School offers a wide range of trips and excursions. Younger pupils are given the opportunity to go on local walks, day visits to classic crags and short residential experiences, to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Moving up the School there are longer and more challenging opportunities venturing further afield, Scotland canoe trips, winter mountaineering, bouldering in Fontainebleau to name a few. At the top end, students are offered the chance to participate in the School's annual major expeditions. Recent destinations include Nepal, India, Peru and Borneo.
