Pastoral Provision
At Yarm at Raventhorpe, a relatively small school, all the staff know each individual pupil and share responsibility for pastoral care and welfare. The School is very much an extended family and this is one of its great strengths, with staff and pupils all actively concerned that the School should be a happy and caring environment for all.
At the centre of the pastoral system lies the form teacher, who is responsible for the in depth day-to-day pastoral care of the children in his or her class.
