Academic Curriculum
Teaching at Yarm at Raventhorpe follows the three stages of the National Curriculum - The Foundation Stage (ages 3-5), Key Stage 1 (ages 6-8) and Key Stage 2 (ages 9-11).
Learning is supplemented with a wide variety of activities that stimulate pupils' interest and enhance their all round development, including sports, music and educational visits to local places of interest. Additionally, each child keeps a diary of their learning journey, with words and photos about what they have been doing while at school and at home. This is a great way for parents to be involved at a crucial time in their child's development. It also makes a priceless keepsake of the early years.
