The school aims to offer instrumental tuition to all pupils who wish to pursue individual study with a specialist teacher. At present 200 instrumental lessons take place each week on a rota basis between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Our pupils are currently learning:Singing (Classical and Popular), Violin, Cello, Recorder, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone, Drum kit, Guitar, Piano,Trumpet, Cornet, Trombone and Baritone
Extra-Curricular Ensembles
The school has a wide array of ensembles including:
6 Choirs
2 String Orchestras
Wind Band
2 Percussion Groups
Rock and Jazz Bands
Chamber Ensembles: Three String Quartets, Cello Ensemble, Advanced Recorder Group, Year 5 Recorder Group, Clarinet Group, Flute Choir, Two Piano Trios, various Piano Duets and a Guitar Group.
Additional Groups: Early School Recorder Club, Early School Music Club, Early School Songs and Number Rhymes.test
