Music
The Yarm Preparatory School Music Department seeks to give all children the opportunity to take part in music making and to enable all children to achieve high standards of musical performance. Pupils understand key musical concepts through ‘doing’ and all pupils perform in concerts every year. Wherever possible, the department seeks external accreditation for class work such that pupils may enter an elementary examination should they so wish at the end of the year.
