Charlie Vasiliou has reached the final of the Young Drummer of the Year competition, after fighting off tough opposition.
The final will be held Sunday 5th February in Leamington Spa, where Charlie will compete against 10 other contestants.
Finalists will have to perform a solo piece and two other pieces with a band on the day. One of these pieces of music will be sent to each finalist a few weeks before the finals. The second piece of music will be released on the day of the finals.
Previous winners of the competition, which is open to musicians 17 and under, have gone on to play with acts such as Amy Winehouse and Basement Jaxx.
