Yarm 1st XV team are celebrating after winning the Daily Mail Vase semi-final.
The team fought hard in a tense semi-final against Plymouth College at Broadstreet, Coventry. Will Guthrie was the first to contribute to the score line with a first-half penalty, taking Yarm in to the lead at half-time. The second half saw Plymouth take the lead with a try but Zach Kibirige managed to book a place in the final with a try just in time to take the win, 8-5 to Yarm.
The 1st XV team will grace the hallowed turf at Twickenham for the Daily Mail Vase final against Felsted on Saturday 23rd March.
We are currently working on arrangements for travel to Twickenham. Details will be distributed this week. We hope many Yarm families will come to Twickenham to support the 1st XV. Go team Yarm!
