What has happened so far
The Riverside Development
In September the new classroom suite, dance studio and changing facilities were completed. The classrooms which house English, Modern Languages, Business Studies and P.E are bright, modern and spacious and definitely have a fantastic view! The Dance Studio provides a dedicated space for dance within the school. The studio has a specialised floor for dancing, mirrors for pupils to perfect their dance and a mezzanine level for spectators.
Multi-use games area, Preparatory School

The Prep playing fields were converted into a fantastic all weather playing surface and nature trail. The multi-purpose pitch is used for playtimes, activities, extra-curricular clubs, games lessons, PE and fixtures, with the nature trail being used for lessons and playtimes.
The new Dining Hall was opened in January 2010, and has been a hit with
pupils and staff alike. The new dining hall is much more spacious than the old one, and the new kitchens are state of the art! The dining hall was officially opened by Paul Rankin, celebrity chef. It was an action packed opening with Paul teaching both preparatory pupils and senior pupils how to make a variety of healthy smoothies. Later, hundreds of parents and friends of the school packed into the new hall to watch a special version of 'Ready, Steady, Cook'.

Expanded Fitness Suite. This was originally the size of a squash court but now has a mezzanine to double the floor space. Upstairs is dedicated to cardio-vascular equipment, while downstairs is home to the weights. The new fitness suite was officially opened by Mr David Tanner, performance director of the GB rowing team!
New classrooms. Three new Maths classrooms adjacent to the Languages Department were opening in February 2010; they are very light and quiet, overlooking the fantastic new dining hall. Meanwhile, in the Sixth Form Centre, two further new classrooms came into use in March above the main common room, which has also been refurbished.
Preparatory School Hall. The new hall was opened shortly after Easter and is a bright, modern space. The children have enjoyed watching the progress of the build, which you can see in the gallery. The first production in the hall was the Year 4 play, Rumplstiltskin, again pictures have been uploaded to the gallery.
