Read full news story...The Senior School is accommodated on a beautiful campus with the River Tees running through it. Based around The Friarage (an impressive eighteenth century mansion), there are outstanding classroom and sport facilities. The School embarked upon an exciting £20m redevelopment project of its sites in 2009. A brand-new, flood-lit, all-weather sports facility was opened in 2009 and then in 2010 the second phase was completed including a stunning dining hall, fitness suite and new maths classrooms. Recently completed is the stunning riverside development which boasts a dance studio, as well as a new classroom block. Work is currently underway on a riverside performing arts centre which will include an 800 seat auditorium, studio theatre and music performance suite (due for completion Easter 2012).
At the Prep School work is currently underway on a new Early School connected to the existing Nursery to form a state-of-the-art Early Years provision (due for completion Easter 2012). In 2010, the Prep School benefitted from a refurbished school hall followed by a multi-use games area and adventure trail in 2011.
