The social side of things is as much a part of Sixth Form life as A levels and sports fixtures and a number of activities throughout the year are organised by and for the students.

    The year begins with the annual First Week Barbecue – allowing students the opportunity to let their hair down at the end of the first week of term. This precedes the first of the inter-House competitions – the Sixth Form only Tug O’War.

    Each House traditionally organises a Sixth Form meal in the first few weeks of term.

    During the Autumn Term, each Tutor Group is invited to a special three-course lunch with the Headmaster at which they have the opportunity to air their views on their first few weeks in convivial surroundings.

    The annual Sixth Form Christmas Dinner is the biggest social event of the year with the whole Sixth Form dressing to the nines for a top class meal and a look back at the highlights of the preceding year.
